This month we’re having a guided craft session to make lavender bags. They’re quite simple, with not too much sewing, so do come along and have a go! If you have any pretty cotton fabric left-overs and/or short pieces of ribbon, please bring these along together with reading glasses (if required), sewing needles, thread and scissors. Our next Book Club is on Monday 5 August when we’ll be meeting upstairs at Further North, in Chapel Allerton, at 7.30 pm, to discuss Blackwater, a Swedish crime novel, by Kerstin Ekman.

Join us at 1.00 pm on Thursday 25 July for a 4-mile walk around Tong and Fulneck, with an ice cream and coffee stop at the end. We’ll be meeting in Tong village, near the Greyhound Pub, on the High Street. There’s roadside parking throughout the village.
