Book Club

The Chapel Pie WI Book Club formed in the summer of 2012 and is another example of our extra-curricular activities. Meetings take place every month in The Regent Pub in Chapel Allerton, they are generally held on the first Monday of the month.

The idea of the Book Club is to share your thoughts and impressions of the book. You can participate as little or as much as you want. Maybe you’ve got a strong opinion on the book or maybe you just want to hear what other people think of it. We try to choose books which we can realistically read between meetings and we’ll give you lots of notice so you can buy and read the book in time, but even if you haven’t had a chance to finish that month’s book we’d still like to see you – there’s no judgement here, we’ve all got busy lives!

We read a wide variety of books, and suggestions from members are welcome – if you have any please get in touch and let us know!

Our book list for 2021-22 is as follows.
