Book Club

Our ethos is easy and uncomplicated. Get hold of the book; give it a go; stop if you aren’t enjoying it; come along and join in the discussion about it! It doesn’t matter if you read all of the book, most of the book or just some of it. We meet once a month on the first Monday of the month in a local pub and always welcome new members. Our book list for 2022 is below.

17 January: Black Country (Liz Berry)
7 February: Miss Pym Disposes (Josephine Tey)
7 March: The Prince (Niccolo Machiavelli)
4 April: A Man Called Ove (Frederik Backman)
25 April: The Old Man and the Sea (Ernest Hemingway)
6 June: The Virago Book of Fairy Tales (Edited by Angela Carter)
4 July: The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly (Hwang Sun-mi)
1 August: The Kraken Wakes (John Wyndham)
5 September: The Thief on the Winged Horse (Kate Mascarenhas)
