August Meeting

Join us from 7.45 pm, on Monday 14 August, when we will be joined by Leeds Girls Can which is part of the national This Girl Can campaign developed by Sport England and launched in 2015 with a range of partners to encourage women to take part in sport and get more active. This Girl Can, funded by The National Lottery, believes that there’s no right way to get active – if it gets your heart rate up it counts. And Leeds Girls Can want more women to find what’s right for them. They are a team of women who aim to empower and support females aged 14–60 years to take part in physical activity. They develop and provide free or affordable opportunities to take part in a physical activity across Leeds and one of their aims is to create sustainable activities for women and girls. Come along to find out more and maybe get involved!
