November Craft Club

Join us at St Matthew’s Church Hall on Wood Lane, from 7.45 pm, on Monday 20 November, for a friendly, informal crafting and catch-up session. Any and all crafting welcome, or just come along for a chat and a cup of tea.

November Meeting

This month we have a festive crafting session – we will be needle-felting Christmas baubles, with mince pies for sustenance! All materials will be provided and it shouldn’t be technically difficult. Our crafting sessions are always fun so do come along! There will be the usual £5 charge for visitors and non-members. Join us on Monday 13 November, from 7.45 pm, at St Matthew’s Church Hall on Wood Lane.

CANCELLED October Outdoor Club

Join us at 1.30 pm on Tuesday 24 October for a 4.5 mile circular walk around the Spofforth Pinnacles. We’ll be meeting in Spofforth village, by the castle ruins, HG3 1ND, with on-street parking. October Meeting

Join us from 7.45 pm on Monday 9 October when we’ll be learning about the work of The Trussel Trust charity which supports a nationwide network of food banks, provides emergency food and support to people locked in poverty and campaigns for change to end the need for food banks in the UK. Tinned food, toiletries and toilet roll donations welcome on the night.

September Outdoor Club

Change of plan! Join us at 3.30 pm on Tuesday 26 September for a a 2-mile city centre walk, following the Potts Clock Heritage Trail, with time for a coffee along the way, postponed from earlier this year. We’ll be meeting near The Carriage Works Theatre, in Millennium Square. Get in touch to let us know if you’re coming along, so we can keep an eye out for you.
