June Meeting
This month’s meeting will be a social event, in celebration of the Queen’s platinum jubilee, complete with a cream tea, quiz and fizz! Join us at St Matthews Church Hall on Wood Lane, from 7.45 pm, on Monday 13 June.
June Book Club
The next book club is on Monday 6 June when we’ll be meeting upstairs at The Woods, at 7.30 pm, to discuss The Virago Book of Fairy Tales, edited by Angela Carter.
May Outdoor Club

This month we will be having a tour of the Recycling and Energy Recovery Facility in Cross Green. The Facility is designed to remove recyclable waste from black bins and recover energy from what is left over to significantly reduce the amount of waste that is sent to landfill. May Book Club
In view of the May Day bank holiday, our book club for May will take place on Monday 25 April. We’ll be meeting upstairs at The Woods, at 7.30 pm, to discuss The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway.
April Outdoor Club

April Meeting
Join us at St Matthew’s Church Hall on Wood Lane, from 7.45 pm, on Monday 11 April for an interactive workshop where we will be learning the basics of the Middle Eastern art of belly dancing. Comfortable clothing such as leggings and t-shirts are recommended – no need to show your belly!
